Episode 23: Bonnie and Clyde

Ever since Vanessa danced with Thor at P.U.R.E., she's been feeling weird around him.  The vibration of the music in the club, the spastic neon lights that were so bright they almost hurt her eyes and the smell of other people's sweat on the dance floor awakened a side of her that has been dormant since she moved to the house.  She didn't expect the harmless, friendly dance with Thor to turn into something else.  Something that she can't quite describe or explain.  All she knew is that she was becoming very aware of how close he was as he moved his body.  Sometimes he would be so close to her that they are only a breath away from touching each other.  The way he mostly bobbed his head to the music, with just a subtle motion of his body, he looked so relaxed and confident.  There were times when it seemed like he was scanning her body with his eyes, but it was hard to tell behind those sunglasses.  

That morning, she found herself wanting to spend more time with him.  There was something about his energy that made her feel very relaxed, as if he's up for any escapades she has in mind.  It helps that they are in the same profession and they hit it off instantly since they first met.  She has never met a man that is just passionate about breaking the rules as she is.  She remembers coming up behind him and smelling his spiky hair, feeling an energy between them.  At one point she asked him if he has ever gotten arrested, but he evaded the question, assuring her that they have plenty of time to get to know each other.

Thor:  Are you working today?

Vanessa:  Nope.  Day off.

Thor:  I'm bored.  Everybody's gone.

Her roommates have been acting weird lately.  Ever since P.U.R.E., they were hardly in the house at the same time.  Pak would go straight to his room after work.  He would rarely come out, except for the occasional munchies.  Then he would scamper to his room again.  Hannah would come home late at night then sleep most of the day until it was time to go to work.  Brooke and Jason were nowhere to be found that day, which was strange because they had different work schedules.  Jason would usually leave for work before Brooke gets home.  There was something strange going on in the house, yet Vanessa and Thor can only speculate as to what it is.  Neither of them are close enough to any of their roommates to ask personal questions.

It seems like Thor is the only person that she can count on to be there.  

Vanessa:  Well, forget them.  Why don't we hang out today??

Thor:  Hang out?

Vanessa:  Yeah, let's do something crazy!!  

The fire in her eyes make it impossible for him to resist.  They look like red-hot flames burning from inside her, just dying to escape any type of moral constraint.  It's been a while since he has done anything crazy.  Driving his motorcycle makes him feel like a rebel, but it's not enough to make him feel alive.  The thrill of doing something illegal teases him now, making him crave the excitement of getting caught. Damn. Doing something crazy with Vanessa?  That's hot.

Thor:  Like what??

Vanessa:  What if we go to the park right across city hall and I pretend to faint?  Then we try to see if some old people  want to help us.  When they come close enough, we take their money and run.

Thor:  Ooooh can I beat them up??

Vanessa:  Sure.  As long as we floor it when they call the cops.

Thor:  Yeahhh!! I like that.  Let's do it!

Vanessa: Wooooooooh!!!  Watch out, bitches!!

She is so excited that her pulse starts racing at the mere idea.  And the fact that she's doing it with Thor makes her heart skip a beat...just a little.  

He can't help but notice how tiny her waist is as she walks in front of him.  Her tush looks like a heart turned upside down.  Thoughts of biting her backpocket pervade his mind, and he wonders if he would leave a mark.  I just wanna slap that---dude, stop thinking like that!!

This is the first time they have left the house on their own aside from work.  The park is only a few blocks away so they decide to take a morning stroll.  She can smell the fresh dewy air that is only present in the morning or right after it rains.  The muffled sounds of birds chirping somewhere in the trees give a false sense of safety from what they are about to do.  The sun is shining brightly on Vanessa's arm, making her feel even more exposed as she absorbs the nutritious heat.  Is it too early to be doing this?

Thor, on the other hand, is giddy with joy.  He feels as if his feet can't move fast enough.  It's like Christmas again, and the delicious anticipation of being up to no good leaves his blood sizzling in excitement.  His hands are itching to unleash their fury on an unsuspecting victim.  Anyone that gives him the wrong look, the wrong word or the wrong energy will get their ass beat.  He doesn't care.  He is nearly foaming at the mouth just thinking about it.

Lo and behold, an elderly townie named Brennan DeJesus shows up when they get there.  They are both looking at him.  Oh crap, he has a cane too.  They seriously cannot be doing this to the poor old man.  Can they??

Vanessa: *groan*

She starts to slump as her eyes become heavy.

Thor:  Oh shit, look at her face!

THUMP. 

She collapses to the ground.  

Thor is still trying to wrap his head around what just happened.  She is actually on the ground, in broad daylight and she looks unconscious.  

Thor:  Hahaha!! Holy shit, this chick is crazy!!

Brennan DeJesus and his lady friend Maleka Williams are shocked at the sight of Vanessa on the ground.

Brennan: What happened?

Maleka: Oh dear, is she okay?

Thor, however, didn't trust Brennan's show of concern.  He didn't like the way he looked at Vanessa, lying helpless on the ground.  Legs sprawled out in the most unladylike fashion.

Thor:  Hey, what the fuck are you looking at??

Brenna:  Nothing, man.  I just wanted to see if she's okay.

Thor:  You're lying!!  I see the way you look at her.  You sick bastard!!

Brennan:  I wasn't looking at her in any kind of way!

Now Thor's anger is taking over him, coupled with his protectiveness over Vanessa.  If she was alone at night passed out like this, somebody would have already tried to take advantage of her.  

Thor:  Dude, you're with your wife!!  Have some decency.

Brennan:  She's not my wife!

Thor:  Don't lie to me.  I don't like liars.

Brennan: Are you calling me a liar??

Thor:  Yeah I'm calling you a liar!!  And for that, you're getting bitch slapped. 

Brennan:  Hey, fuck you asshole!!

Thor:  Is THAT right??

This time, the monster comes out.  The only thing he sees is red, and that is Brennan.  He is like a bull who's tail just got pulled. HARD.  He doesn't like it, and he will not stop until he cripples that person.

Thor: Your ass is mine, bitch.

Thor:  Now gimme your wallet!!

Thor: You don't mess with the Thooooor!!  You don't mess with the Thoooooor!! Don't fuck with the Thoooooor!!

Brennan:  You son of a b*tch, you won't get away with this!! The cops are coming.

Thor: Floor it Vanessa!! Hurry up!!

He feels like he's floating on a red cloud, high from the intoxicating thrill of beating someone up and taking their money.  It's like taking a hit from a cigarette when he hasn't had it in years.  The sweet release of evil has never tasted so good.  He can taste it on his lips. Mmmmmm....

Vanessa:  Okay, okay!!

Vanessa: Did you see me faint??

Thor:  Haha! Yeah.  That was some funny shit!!

Vanessa:  Man, that was so much fun.

Thor:  Did you see me kick that old dude's ass?

Vanessa: YES!! That was hot.

Thor:  I took his wallet too.

Vanessa:  You are bad-ass!! Damn, I just want to pull this car over and straddle you right now.

Thor: We gotta do this more often. Pull this damn care over!!

Vanessa:  You wanna make one more stop??

Thor:  Yeah, I'm game!!  We can rob a bank for all I care.  Let's do this!!!

Thor:  The consignment store??

Vanessa:  Uh huh.  It's been years since I shoplifted one.

She looks at him with playful eyes, hoping for a "yes".

Thor:  You want to?? *evil grin*

Vanessa:  YES. So bad. *sly grin*

Vanessa:  Alright.  Be cool.  Don't make a scene.


Thor:  I got you.  This wouldn't be my first time, you know. 


Vanessa:  Ahhh, so you have some experience.


Thor:  Let's just say I'm very good at it.


Vanessa:  OMG, can you be any more hot right now??

When they enter the store, it's empty.  There's no cashier in sight.  The customers are nowhere to be found.

Thor:  This must be our lucky day.  There's no one here.

Vanessa:  Seriously, who leaves their store unattended?

Thor:  Alright, here's the plan.  We lock the doors from the inside while we get as much stuff as we can.  We give ourselves 3 minutes.  When I say "time's up" we head out and floor it.  Not one second over 3 minutes or we will be hearing sirens.  Got it??

Vanessa: Got it.

Thor:  Just in case the cops come and we're still here, just sprint for the car as fast as you can okay?  I'll drive.  I might have to hit the cop car just to bide us more time. Ready??

Just as they are about to execute their plan, this guy happens to saunter in.

Thor:  What kind of freakshow just walked in??

Freakshow:  Hi guys!!

Vanessa: ..............

Freakshow: Bye guys!! Have a nice day!!

Thor: ................

Vanessa: ...................

Thor:  Three minutes!! Get all your shit!!

Vanessa:  Hold on!!  I'm grabbing the jewelry first.

Thor: One minute!! Hurry up!!

Vanessa: Okay, okay. Clothes, shoes...what else??

Thor: 10...9....8....7....6...

Vanessa:  Aaaak!! Oooh an antique vase.  This looks expensive.

Thor: 5....4....3....

Vanessa:  Wait, let me grab the silverware!!

Thor:  2....1....Time's Up!!  Get the fuck out of here!! NOW!!

Vanessa:  Oh shit, let's go!!

Just as they opened the door, the alarm sounded.

Vanessa:  FLOOR IT!!!

Thor: WOOOOH!!!
